International Day
Today we celebrated International Day. This week has been a very busy week: Our pantomime, Aladdin, finally performed it’s last night following the rains, and then an excellent Talent Show in the Primary School treated us all yesterday. The effort that the pupils, staff and yes, you the parents put in, never cease to amaze me. Again, today is no exception.
Thank you all for what I am experiencing. The pupils wearing their traditional dress look superb; the stalls show such pride for the home countries and as for the food………. well, my taste buds have certainly been woken up this morning. I believe I have been all around the world by 0930hr through a magical taste sensation! I can certainly say that the Arab nations like sweet and spicy, and it was great to be treated to some Yorkshire Pudding at 0900hr by the students celebrating their English heritage.
Again, many thanks to all of you that have made this a very vibrant and successful day.
