Such a wonderful occasion for Year 3 when none other than The Bosun and Mrs. Tredegar from The Green Ship made a special appearance to help us with our healthy eating picnic!!!

We all boarded the Green Ship outside Year 3 building with our freshly made sandwiches and made our way to the canteen, via several countries around the world. We used our learning content from recent English lessons (2a sentences, time openers, connectives and similes) to describe each destination we visited on The Green Ship.

It was also with knowledge of food groups (carbs/protein/fruit/veg etc.),which we have focused on in Science, that we planned and made our sandwiches, before bringing them to the canteen where all of Year 3 had a lovely picnic together.
