U10s and U12s Girls Football
A big well done to our Under 10s and Under 12s girl footballers in their second ever tournaments on Sunday.
The Under 10 girls best game was a hard fought battled against Al Ain Academy keeping the scoreline close at 1-0 for the majority of the game. They unfortunately let in a 2nd goal in the final seconds of the game which resulted in a loss of 2-0 to AAA. They’re second game was against Brighton College which they lost 3-0.
The Under 12 girls lost their first game to Al Ain Academy 3-1 with a brilliant goal from Yara El Baitam but they didn’t let this bring them down. Their second game was against Brighton College which was extremely close throughout, Yara El Baitam added another 2 goals to her tally bringing the score to 2-2 to then set up Sabine Fintel to score the winning goal resulting in their first ever win!
Final scores were:
U10:
AAA v AAESS – AAA won 2-1
AAESS v Brighton College – Brighton College won 3-0
U12:
AAA v AAESS- AAA won 3-1
AAESS v Brighton College- AAESS won 3-2
Both teams played absolutely brilliantly battling for every ball, improving dramatically from the last tournament.
