Touch Rugby – Go Team!

Last night our AAESS staff team, Team Squirrel (what a nutty name), played Al Ain’s 2nd placed team in a fast-paced game of touch rugby.

Previously, when Team Squirrel faced off against their higher ranked opponents they lost with an overwhelming 8-1 tries.   Not ones to burrow away in a tree, this time around they made sure they weren’t hibernating.

Looking for a close game, Team Squirrel showed cohesion and finesse in their ball handling with no single player trying to hoard away the ball.  The team worked well scurrying their way down the field as one unit both offensively and defensively.   Although they fell to their rivals with a small margin of 5-3, they at least looked good doing it.
