AAESS congratulates Laila for achieving 3 rd place in the Sabre sword category in the recent UAE Fencing Federation tournament.

Laila has been fencing for 6 months and it was her first tournament. Achieving third place in the tournament is thus a significant achievement.

Laila hopes that more young people develop an interest in this sport.

Laila can be seen here in action and with her medal, as well as with a very proud Mr Thomas who presented Laila with Balfour, the school mascot who he hopes will now be her new training partner!
