Principal Andrew Thomas is delighted to announce that Mr Feras Al Tahaineh is promoted to the Senior team as an Associate Principal.

Andrew said, “The addition of Mr Feras now finalises and compliments the senior team very nicely and is an essential part of the new organisational structure.  Feras will lead on Islamic & Arabic as well as remaining in the position of the local liaison officer.  He will oversee and line manage the new Heads of Arabic and Islamic, whom we will announce in the new year as we aim to drive standards in these two subjects.”

Principal Andrew Thomas added, “I have stated several times how eager I am to promote Arabic and Islamic Studies in the school.  I want everyone to see we have 5 big subjects: English; Maths; Science; Arabic & Islamic, and the conversion of half of the Year 3 building over summer to make an Arabic and Islamic Centre is all part of our drive to promote these very important subjects. I am looking forward to working closely with Mr Feras who has so much knowledge.  He gives his time so generously to this school, that this promotion is richly deserved”.
