Good luck to our students who are leaving for the Model United Nations Conference in Singapore today.  During the week long conference, they will be among 500 delegates participating in mock debates and discussing issues relevant to today’s news.

This is a wonderful opportunity for our students to meet others from around the world while representing AAESS proudly.

Principal, Andrew Thomas, saw the students off and wished them well.  He added, “This has been planned for many years.  Last year the trip went out to the MUN in Qatar, but we always planned to go to the MUN Singapore for this year.  It’s a big one! I am proud that our students who range in years, have taken this opportunity where I know they will have a fantastic experience.  Hamad in Year 8 has promised to look after Mr Gillmore for me, and assures me that he will make sure he does not let Mr Gillmore near the wonderful food stalls and markets that Singapore has to offer! ”
