Islamic Competition
Al Ain English Speaking School has shown that language does not have to be a barrier to understanding culture. With this in mind, the AAESS organised a contest that tests the general knowledge of students about The Quran and Islam. The students from AAESS competed against students from 24 other private schools this year and we hope to make this activity an annual event.
The competition consisted of a booklet with 55 questions; all students did extremely well, achieving maximum marks, which resulted in winners coming from every school. The competition booklet was set by Mr Al Tahaineh for the fifth time and was again approved by ADEK to be distributed to all private schools in Al Ain. We were honoured to receive VIP parents, esteemed members from ADEK; Ms Nora Al-Rashidi, the school principal, Mr Andrew Thomas, Mr Mohammed Ghussain the owner of the school.
