Yesterday, the Year 6’s had an introduction assembly highlighting what to expect when they move up to Secondary next year and have to hang with the big kids.   Twenty students from Year 7 volunteered to be their mentors not only this week but to as their guides next year as well.

The Year 6’s were divided into smaller groups along with a Year 7 student where they could comfortably ask them questions and get to know their mentor.   The Year 6 teachers as well as a couple Secondary teachers were on hand to give a brief presentation and help facilitate the assembly.
