On Friday 24th February, both our boys and girls football squads travelled to compete at the annual tournament organised by BSAK, held at the Zayed Sports City. The two teams demonstrated exceptional flair, enthusiasm and vigour throughout the day as they battled to come out on top against their opponents, often substantially older and with more extensive squads. Teams from all around the UAE flocked to this expression of sporting exuberance and competitive spirit, and the tournament was fiercely contested. The players demonstrated cohesive team spirit, brilliant displays of teamwork and coordination, maintaining grace, humility and levelheadedness. The camaraderie and desire of all members of the team was evident, and their enthusiasm and vigour was infectious! A special thank you to Roy who showed incredible sportsmanship and sacrifice in allowing a fellow teammate to take his place, putting team above the individual. A hearty congratulation to all who competed!
