No, you haven’t been sent back thousands of years in a time machine!! It’s just Ancient Egypt Day in Year 3. In keeping with tradition, and as a culmination of our fascinating topic, Ancient Egypt, all of Year 3 held Ancient Egypt Day on Tuesday, December 12th.

We had King Tutankhamun, Cleopatra and many other nobles and common folk from Ancient Egypt decoding and sending messages using hieroglyphics, dancing as the Ancient Egyptians did as well as making Ancient Egyptian clothing. We have all been enthralled learning about Ancient Egypt this term and Ancient Egypt Day allowed us to finish off the topic in style!
