Over the summer, instead of enjoying a holiday filled with sun and sand, Isla opted for ice and cold.   She spent the first half of her “vacation”  training in Germany and Italy with some of the field’s top coaches.  Her intense schedule saw her on most days training 8 hours per day; all in preparation for Skate Asia 2018.

In Thailand, Isla competed against some elite competitors representing dozens of countries and skill sets.   Not one to shy away from a challenge, Isla showcased her talents in 11 events and medalled in all: 5 Gold, 4 Silver and 2 Bronze.

Way to go Isla!  Keep up the amazing work!
