On Thursday 3rd October 2019, our very own Mr Zaheer Abass, Principal of the Secondary School, was presented, in a surprise ceremony, the ADEK Teacher Appreciation Award 2019.  It was just the occasion we needed too, to open our new auditorium.

Principal, Andrew Thomas, who nominated Mr Abass, said, “Zaheer has been teaching at AAESS for over 18 years,  He isn’t just a teacher, he’s Mr Al Ain.  His dedication is second to none, and the amount of students that he has influenced into the world of Physics, is phenomenal.  When I put the application together, I needed the help of ex-students and teachers.  I was flooded by responses.  This is truly deserved and it is great that a teacher from AAESS has been recognised in this way by ADEK”.
