Three AAESS students have been selected for the UAE  Under 20 Rugby 7s  team.

Liam Kalauni, Hamza Dean and Ryno de Bruyn. Liam and Hamza were in Year 12 this year and will be pursuing their studies in their home countries at the end of the summer.  Ryno will be returning to AAESS this coming year.

They will be playing in an International tournament in Malaysia this coming week-end and another one in Hong Kong on the week end of the 12th August.

Principal Andrew Thomas said, “This is fantastic news and once again shows how well our students do.  I am not surprised as they were part of the winning Dubai 7’s team for the Al Ain Amblers and have achieved so much both on and off the rugby pitch. They have been a real credit to the school and their families, and they will certainly be an asset to this squad.  I will say again, I have no doubt we will be reading and watching great success of these young men for years to come!  Congratulations and good luck!”
