AAESS students continued the tradition of producing outstanding results in this May/June 2017 Examination series. IGCSE results are still due in from the Edexcel examination board, however there are several students who have posted excellent results in Cambridge examination board subjects, with the School celebrating yet again, a 100% pass rate at A Level.

At this stage congratulations are extended to

Yanal Rida, Zuhayr Shaikh and Abdulrahman Muwafaq for achieving five A* grades

Ibrahim Warshow, Ishmal Khalid, Rana Aboueladab and Iman Shadaid for achieving six A* grades

Arwa Khashkhusha for achieving eight A* grades

This list will be updated once the EDEXCEL IGCSE results are released.

In the AS examinations:

Nour Elbery and Mollie Sommerville are commended for achieving three A grades while Luna Lababidi and Hiva Meshkati have achieved excellence by producing four A grades each.

The A level results this year improved further on last year’s excellent record with Anita Shishani, Toby Payne, and Syed Quadri achieving two A* grades each, Nadeem Mohammed achieving four A grades while Christian Mourani posted A* grades in all three of his A level subjects.

AAESS surpassed UK national pass rates this year with 31% of our candidates achieving A*/A grades versus 26% in the UK. 82% of AAESS candidates achieved A*to C passes versus 77% in the UK.

AAESS is proud of the achievements of these students and we look forward to further excellence in this year’s examination series.

With the release of the EDEXCEL examination results today, we celebrate further success and our congratulations are extended to:

Zuhayr Shaik for now achieving an additional A* to bring his total to 6

Iman Shadid and Ishmal Khaild for increasing their A* tallies to 7 from 6

We also applaud Arwa Khashkhusha for achieving outstanding results by achieving NINE A* grades.

AAESS students for this academic year have also done well to improve on last year’s pass rate by achieving an 82% A*-C pass rate across all subjects.  The average in the UK this year was 66%.  The IGCSE pass rate at AAESS has been consistently higher than that in the UK for several years. We are immensely proud of our students’ achievements in this year’s external examinations.
