Science Fair Awards

Science Week 2018 saw many pupils in the school from Foundation Stage to Sixth Form take part in creating their own science project. Students had the opportunity to show case their projects to their class and teacher throughout the week.
FS1 students Showcasing their projects:
To support their transition into secondary learning, Year 6 were invited to take part in the Secondary Science Fair. 21 Projects encompassing all aspects of science were showcased on the day. Project entries included home build volcanoes and RC cars, demonstrations of how to make slime, glow in the dark bubbles and even ice cream, which was a very popular stand on the day!
All school staff and Sixth Form students were invited to judge the contest and spent time asking students questions about their research and what they had found out during their project.
The winner, a year 6 students, took first place for a project titled ‘Which will you wrap your baby in?’. Allam’s project investing how absorbent baby’s diper were, included good research and well-presented result of what he had found out.

Third Place: Shahd El Sayed, Aisah Abbas, Alhena Jaffer, Anoushka Bowbyes – Glow in the Dark Bubbles
