Dear All,

It is that time of year when we feel the cool air chill us ever so slightly, and we turn our thoughts to the Winter holiday.

This term has been very busy and has seen our students once again work hard with their studies, but also enjoy the many activities that the School has held.  Our National Day was a particular favourite of mine and I am still smiling about finding the camels on the school field early as the sun rose that morning.

We have also seen students practicing for their Duke of Edinburgh Silver Expedition; learning about Farmers in FS, winning once again the Al Ain Writers Competition,  and representing the School at the Singapore Model United Nations, to name a few.  Isla continued to win gold medals for her Ice Skating, whilst Ryno was selected for the UAE Rugby Squad. The library and set of ICT suites has been built, and ground has been broken to start our new administration building which we hope to have finished for the start of the next academic year. A wonderful winter concert concluded the term and I look forward to more success in the new year.
