Following on from last years highly successful production of Matilda, Al Ain English Speaking School present this years musical, Aladdin.

This production takes the classic Arabian Nights tale of how a poor boy finds a magic lamp and relocates it to Al Ain, adding evil wizards, cheeky sidekicks, bungling police officers and funky music! The production combines over 50 students from the Art, Drama and Music departments and promises to be one of the highlights of the academic calendar.

The school hall will be transformed into an Arabian paradise and finger food will be provided in the price of the ticket. Matthew Blanks, the school’s drama teacher, and writer and director of the piece said ‘This promises to be a unique and original experience. The students are working very hard and are excited about bringing this classic tale to life, with our own twist on it!’

The show is on 7th & 8th March at 6pm in the school hall and tickets cost AED 25 (AED 50 VIP) and are available from school reception. Book early to avoid disappointment!
