As part of the UAE’s “Year of Reading”, the Year 4s have spent the last few weeks taking part in the AAESS Extreme Reading Challenge. Students were asked to take pictures of themselves reading in creative and unusual places. There were many imaginative entries, leaving the Year 4 teachers with a difficult time selecting an overall winner.

After tense deliberations, the teachers chose Saeed from 4T who took time out of his hockey practice to read a few pages of Mary Shelley’s “Frankenstein”. Congratulations Saeed, and well done to everyone who participated!
