New Woodwind and Brass Ensemble

This term, Mr Jung in the Music Department has started a woodwind and brass ensemble. Students who have demonstrated a keen interest in the subject have been awarded with 13 scholarships to learn flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, euphonium and percussion.
Rehearsals started this week, and the initiative has been well received by the AAESS community.
This week, students learnt how to assemble and dissemble their instruments and how to play their first two notes!

Any student in primary or secondary who has one of these instruments at home is most welcome to join the ensemble and will receive tuition free of charge. If you have one of these instruments and you would like to donate it or loan it to school for a period of time, please contact djung@aaess.sch.ae or pconte@aaess.sch.ae for further information.

We are all very much looking forward to seeing them performing their premiere recital!
