Cashing in on House Points

The week beginning the 15th of January saw our first house point shop of the academic year. Excited children from Foundation Stage one, all the way through to Year six, had been collecting house points in lessons for demonstrating; school values, excellent effort and outstanding progress.

With items ranging from five to forty house points, children were choosing to spend their hard earned points, join with classmates to buy shared items or deciding to save their house points for larger items next time the shop opens later in term two. The Year six House Captains provided expert assistance throughout the week, giving up almost all of their own break times to manage the shop themselves.

Mr. McCandlish would like to send a message of thanks to all pupils of AAESS who acted brilliantly throughout, especially the house captains!
