Last night, AAESS was represented once again at the Cambridge Awards ceremony in Dubai.

Ben Bavister took the award for the highest grade in the UAE for A/S Geography, having never studied the subject at GCSE level.

Principal Andrew Thomas said, “Ben is a credit to his family, himself and the school.  Considering he didn’t even study this subject at GCSE says a lot about Ben’s ability and indeed, the teachers that Ben has had over the year.  Ben joins a very small and elite group of previous winners, some of whom have gone on to become Nobel Prize winners.  I’m certain that Ben has a very bright future ahead of himself.  I am very proud of him and delighted to see that once again AAESS is featured among the very best in this country and indeed, the world”.
